Last Sunday’s Goodview Days Parade was a huge success!  We had two vehicles with trailers and around EIGHTY people walking beside them!  People loved the “Blue Wave” gloves we were wearing–lots of folks smiled and gave us the “thumbs up.”  Local candidates Dan Wilson, Jack Hedin and Steve Holm were terrific campaigners, sprinting energetically from side to side, greeting parade goers and shaking hands. Kids were lined up on each side of the road to receive a “high five” from Steve Monk, the unicyclist dressed as Uncle Sam.  WE HAVE ONE MORE IMPORTANT PARADE TO GO–SO COME AND JOIN THE FUN!

WHAT: Saint Charles Gladiolus Days Parade

WHEN: Sunday, August 30th 

WHERE: Meet at noon at the Schlichenmeyer’s house, 1242 Morse Ave in St. Charles.  If you come later, you can find us at the DFL float–we’ll be at the start line near the Aquatic Center (next to the St. Charles high school).  Line up starts at noon.  The parade starts at 1 PM.
