Saturday, August 29, from 4:30 – 8 pm, at the Winona Lake Park Jaycee Pavilion, there will be a Working Families Picnic, sponsored by the WInona County DFL.  “If you are tired of all the grift and economic chaos,“ says County DFL Outreach Officer Joe Schlichenmeyer, “Let’s do something about it!  This free, fun gathering is a great opportunity to connect with fellow community members and listen to candidates share their plans to make Winona more affordable for families.”  A light meal will be provided.  There will be games and activities for the kids, starting at 4:30.  The meal starts at 5:30, and the speakers kick off at 6:00.  Speakers include Steve Holm (SD20B), Jack Hedin (SD26), Jason Lohmann (SD20), and Dan Wilson (SD26A).

“Don’t miss out on this chance to have fun and build stronger community ties,”  Joe says. “RSVP so we can plan accordingly,” he adds.  Interested folks should email WDFLContact@gmail.com
