Winona County DFL’s Working Families Picnic Draws Over 150 Attendees in Winona
According to Jim Worthley, Winona County DFL Chair, the recent Working Families Picnic, held on September 11th at the Winona Lake Park Jaycee Pavilion, was a big success. “Over 150 people attended,” said Jim.

“Excitement was running high for two excellent candidates for State House District 26A, Jack Hedin and Dan Wilson. Both of them gave excellent speeches, as did Hutch Hutchinson, who is running again for State House District 20B.” Jake Johnson, the DFL candidate who is hoping to unseat Representative Brad Finstad in Minnesota’s First Congressional District, was a charismatic presence as well. “Jake gave a stirring address to the appreciative crowd,” Jim said. “The entire event was very well planned–people enjoyed great food and warm fellowship. Our thanks to Outreach Officer Schlichenmeyer and his committee, and to all who attended. This was a great event and showed the community that Democrats are standing up and moving forward!”
